Product Description
This is an OEM Body Control Module (BCM) with part number 97RA-012108 designed for Ford Focus Mk2 (and related models). The module is responsible for managing various body-electrical systems such as central locking, interior and exterior lights, instrument cluster communications, immobiliser interface, and other vehicle convenience/electrical functions.

When sourcing this BCM, you should ensure:

The part number matches exactly (97RA-012108) or is confirmed compatible.
The connector pin layout, harness plug and mounting are identical to the original unit in your vehicle.
Any coding or adaptation required is understood — when swapping BCMs, some functions may need reprogramming to the car’s VIN, immobiliser, or feature set.
The unit is tested and in good working condition (used modules can have wear/age/faults).

Compatibility Table

Vehicle	Year Range	Module Part Number	Notes
Ford Focus Mk2 (and Estate / Hatch)	~2007-2011	97RA-012108	Listings confirm this part number for Mk2 Focus BCM units.
Other Ford models (similar body/electrical architecture)	—	97RA-012108	Might fit where body-electrical wiring & feature set match — supplier to verify.

Important Notes & Buyer Tips

Even with the correct part number, software/firmware version, vehicle wiring harness, and module coding must match — otherwise you may experience functionality issues (lights not working, central locking failure, communication faults).
Some Ford Focus Mk2 models suffer from BCM water ingress or connector corrosion leading to BCM failure. It is wise to check the original unit’s condition and consider sealing or protecting the connector.
After installation, verify all vehicle functions (locking, lights, dash warnings, immobilizer) are operating correctly.
Ask the seller whether the BCM has been tested, any faults recorded, and whether adaptation to your vehicle will be required.
