Important Notes & Buyer Tips

Confirm exact part number is 7614359 (or 5WK91156) — many MSV80-based ECUs exist with different numbers; compatibility is not guaranteed without exact match.
The BMW ECU often requires programming/cloning (VIN adaptation, matching to immobilizer or CAS module) when replacing. Ignoring this may lead to no-start or fault codes.
Ask the seller for photos of the label (part number, HW/SW version) and the state of the module.
After installation, clear fault codes and confirm engine runs normally (idle, sensor readings, diagnostics).
Because these are used units, check condition of the physical housing, pins/connectors, and ensure no water or damage.
