Description:
The BMW Transfer Case Control Module (ATC700) with part numbers 27607569969 and S97238 is a genuine OEM unit designed to manage the operation of the xDrive all-wheel-drive system in BMW E70 X5 and E71 X6 models. It communicates with the vehicle’s transmission, differential, and stability control systems to distribute power efficiently between the front and rear axles, ensuring optimal traction and stability.
A failing module can lead to drivetrain warning lights, jerking or binding during turns, unusual noises from the transfer case, or complete loss of AWD functionality. Replacing it with the correct OEM unit ensures smooth operation and restores the vehicle’s AWD performance.
