2115453901 Mercedes E Class W211 SAM Fuse Box Control Unit Module.

Product Description
The unit bearing OEM part number 2115453901 is a factory SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) fuse and relay block/control unit typically used in Mercedes‑Benz W211 E-Class and related models.
This module integrates the fuse-box and relay distribution system with the body electronics, managing power feeds, relay control, and body-bus signal distribution for things like lighting, central locking, windows, and other convenience/electrical subsystems.
Used or refurbished units are commonly available. When replacing, it’s important to:

Verify the exact part number 211 545 39 01 matches the label on your original unit.
Check the connector/harness layout and housing condition.
Confirm software/hardware variant compatibility (as incorrect versions may cause message-coding faults).
Some vehicles may require adaptation or coding of the SAM after installation.

Important Buying & Installation Notes

Even if the part number matches, different hardware/software revisions or option sets (e.g., lighting packages, alarm systems) may mean the unit isn’t plug-and-play.
Ensure the physical unit is free of water damage, corrosion or melted plastic—issues frequently reported on SAM modules.
Disconnect the vehicle battery before installing the module to avoid damage.
After installation, use appropriate Mercedes diagnostic tool to clear faults and adapt the module if required.
